Can Uzbek organisations receive Horizon Europe funding?
Yes, under applicable calls. Uzbekistan is a non-associated third country whose eligible participants can receive EU funding under Horizon Europe when the specific topic permits it.
Who can participate?
Depending on the topic: universities, research institutes, healthcare and medical research organisations, public research bodies, technology companies, innovation-oriented firms and other organisations relevant to the project.
European partners are often central to the project.
Many collaborative Horizon Europe calls require a core consortium from EU Member States or countries associated with Horizon Europe. An Uzbek organisation can participate in addition to that core, subject to the rules of the topic.
